Turbine type water flow meter is a speed-type flow meter with temperature and pressure compensation function. It belongs to a kind of speed-type flowmeter. Its working principle is: the power of flowing fluid drives the turbine blade to rotate, and its rotation speed is approximately proportional to the volume flow rate. Turbine Type Water Flow Meter Structure
Turbine type water flow meter belongs to speed flowmeter, also called impeller flowmeter. The impeller flowmeter uses the proportional relationship between the rotational angular velocity of the impeller placed in the fluid and the fluid flow velocity, and measures the rotational speed of the impeller to reflect the fluid volume flow through the pipeline. It is one of the more mature high-accuracy instruments in the flow instrument one. Turbine flowmeter generally consists of five parts: meter body, measuring components, counter, rectifier and magnetic coupling drive device.

Turbine Type Water Flow Meter Working Principle
The Turbine type water flow meter is used to measure the total volume flow and/or flow velocity, and its working principle is based on the principle of torque balance. As the fluid flows through the meter, it impacts the turbine blades, which are free to rotate about an axis at the centerline of the turbine housing. The (rotational) angular velocity of the turbine rotor is directly proportional to the flow rate of the fluid through the turbine. The output result is obtained by the electrical sensor installed on the meter housing.
