Steam Pressure Controller Overview
The steam pressure controller is an electronic controller that automatically and quickly adjusts output pressure based on supply pressure. Due to their high accuracy and control stability, steam pressure controllers are especially suitable for pressure measurement of steam and water levels in industrial boilers for automatic testing and/or calibration of various sensors.
The steam pressure controller belongs to the mechanical pressure controller. Mechanical pressure controllers are pressure control components and are mainly used as high pressure/low pressure/high and low pressure controllers in refrigeration systems and steam systems. The method of use is simple, set a pressure on the pressure controller, and the contact of the pressure controller above or below this pressure will act, and then a signal can be sent to protect the refrigeration compressor.
On the steam pressure controller, two parameters, DIFF and RANGE, are often seen. RANGE is the range of pressure; DIFF refers to the switching difference, that is, the dead zone, which is a switching area.
The steam pressure controller is the most commonly used sensor in industrial practice. It also is the most commonly used pressure sensor in industrial boilers. It is widely used in various industrial automatic boiler control environments to measure the pressure of the saturated steam, such as the gas fired steam boiler, oil fired steam boiler, coal fired steam boiler, biomass fired steam boiler, waste recovery boiler, and so on.
Steam Pressure Controller Working Principle
The high-pressure pressure controller works on the same principle as the low-pressure pressure controller. When the pressure inside the bellows rises and its value is higher than the setting value of the main adjustment spring, the bellows will elongate or shorten (the external pressure type of the bellows is shortened, and the internal pressure type is elongated), push the swing lever, and toggle. The contact cuts off the power supply and plays the role of high voltage protection. If the power supply is cut off when the pressure is too low, it will play the role of low voltage protection.
